I utilize evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and more, to help you gain insights, develop coping strategies, and create lasting positive change in your life.
Each individual is unique, and therefore, I take a personalized approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. About Jaclyn Herring, Ph.D.

Dr. Herring has over 25 years of experience in the field, having worked across the spectrum of settings, 

including outpatient, inpatient and community facilities.  She has taught courses in Psychology,

presented on a wide range of professional topics and supervised students and Psychology professionals.

   

Dr. Herring received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology and Economics, Masters of Science

and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.  She completed her clinical internship

at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Following that, she held a Psychology Fellow position for 4 years

at Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Herring is a Clinical Faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where she provides services to professional and university athletes and teams.

 

Professional memberships include:  American Psychological Association, PA Psychological Association, Society for Behavioral Sleep Medicine, Association for Applied Sports Psychology.
